CONDITIONS & ETHICS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR RETREATS, TEACHER TRAININGS AND WORKSHOPS
The terms and conditions define the procedures of the Anahata Ayurveda Yoga Netherlands and are mandatory for all participants of the Retreats and Workshops.
1. Enrolment for the events
The number of participants for the events is limited to ensure high quality. The enrolment needs to be made either in written form (via email or www.deola.org) The enrolment is legally valid and mandatory with the receipt of the event fees.
2. Confirmation of enrolment/Receipt
After receipt of the enrolment a confirmation will be sent to the participant by email. Before the event we will send an email to the participants with detailed information about how to get there, what to bring, what to do during the breaks etc. An invoice will be issued at request.
3. Payment and Cancellation
The balance of the full program fee is to be paid within one week after the receipt of confirmation, as long as the enrolment is made more than one week before retreat commences. Should the enrolment be made less than one week prior to the retreat, the payment is to be made immediately.
4. Payment
The only payment method currently available is direct deposit to our bank account.

5. Refund policy
A cancellation must be made in written form (email). The following refund policy applies:
Up to 6 months prior to the event commencement , 100% refund
Up to 4 months prior to event commencement, 50% refund
Up to 3 months prior to event commencement, 25% refund
Up to 1 month prior to event commencement, 0% refund
If a substitute participant is named, no cancellation fees apply. After the event commencement, no refunds are possible under any circumstances. If a participant does not show up at all, no refunds will be made. If you miss the event, it may not be possible to attend a later event to make it up. These conditions apply regardless of the reason of withdrawal.
6. Changes
Anahata Ayurveda Yoga Netherlands reserves the right to make changes to dates, program and sequence of the event content, as well as the cancellation of the event without replacement in the case of insufficient registrations.
In case of cancellation, participants would be informed duly per email or telephone. In the unlikely event that the event is cancelled, a full refund of all event fees will be returned to the participant. No other claims can be made due to date or program changes or course cancellations.
7. Personal, pecuniary and material damage
Liability is excluded for personal, pecuniary and material damage at the retreats and workshops of Anahata Ayurveda Yoga Netherlands. Participation is at own risk.
8. Health risks / Pregnancy
Participants of events of Anahata Ayurveda Yoga Netherlands are obliged to only participate in the courses when they do not have any infectious diseases and when no medical objections against participating in the retreat exist. Possible health risks are to be clarified with a doctor prior to the course. The Yoga instructor needs to be informed by the participant about any health issues or health restrictions. This also includes possible pregnancy. The participant is responsible for possible injuries occurring during the course.
9. Legal domicile
The Netherlands law is applicable. Legal domicile for legal issues is the regional court in The Hague.
10. Effectiveness of terms and conditions
The participant accepts the terms & conditions in all points during enrolment. Should one or the other point mentioned above be completely or partially ineffective, the other points stay unaffected.

CODE OF ETHICS
All the teaching members of Anahata Ayurveda Yoga Netherlands adhere to the Anahata Yoga Philosophy of teaching yoga from the heart without judgement, criticism or comparison and choosing to personally live by Patanjali's Eight Limbs of Yoga.
As registered Yoga Alliance teachers we also abide by the Yoga Alliance Code of Conduct “Our code of conduct is a declaration of acceptable ethical and professional behaviour by which all registrants agree to conduct the teaching and business of yoga.
It is not intended to supersede the ethics of any school or tradition but is intended to be a basis for yoga principles. As a RYT®, E-RYT®, we agree to uphold the following ethical principles:
- Conduct myself in a professional and conscientious manner.
- Acknowledge the limitations of my skills and scope of practice and where appropriate, refer students to seek alternative instruction, advice, treatment or direction.
- Create and maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for the practice of yoga.
- Encourage diversity by respecting all students regardless of age, physical limitations, race, creed, gender, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation.
- Respect the rights, dignity and privacy of all students.
- Avoid words and actions that constitute sexual harassment.
- Adhere to the traditional yoga principles as written in the Yamas and Niyamas.
- Follow all local government and national laws that pertain to my yoga teaching and business.
