Joining a group class may initially seem like too big a step. For example:
If you are uncertain about your level of practice or because you have a specific health issue
Or maybe you don’t have time for a group class or prefer to practice at home or at work at your own time.
In a private yoga session, the practice is customized to suit your specific needs. This will include yoga poses/practices that suit your body type or poses/practices for any specific symptoms you are experiencing.
For example, if your main issue is back pain; we will develop a sequence of poses most effective for relieving the pain. In some cases, diet and lifestyle suggestions may be required to achieve the best results.
A private session is a perfect tool to restore the balance between body, mind, and spirit. You gain more awareness of patterns and habits causing pain and imbalance in your body.
A private session will help you develop strength, flexibility, self-confidence and a balanced self-practice.
The fee is $40 for an hour. Book and pay 5 classes at once for only $150 ($30 for each class).
On request, private classes can be shared by a maximum of two people. If you would like to take a private class with more than one person, please let me know.

HATHA FLOW YOGA
This class is a sequence of traditional hatha yoga poses based on Bihar School of Yoga. We use the asana (postures) to balance the physical body, pranayama (breathing techniques) to balance the energetic body. You cultivate awareness of the body and breath while moving in a gentle flow.
A more meditative form hatha yoga with the intension of staying connected to the breath throughout the class. You increase awareness of your breath in each pose to keep the mind fully anchored in the present moment. Allow the mind to retreat so it can rest from the constant flow of thoughts. A perfect mid-week stress release!
5 ELEMENT FORM YOGA
A series of flowing movements, similar to traditional Vinyasa Yoga. Often compared to Tai Chi and Chi Kung. The 5 Element Form is a traditional North Indian practice, from Assam connecting us with the elements of earth, water, fire, air, and ether. Increase the body's natural healing abilities to increase strength and vitality.
