Are you going through (pre) menopause and are you starting to experience unpleasant symptoms

like hot flashes, headaches, depression, aching joints, weight gain, low back pain or emotional instability?

Yoga has been proven to have a positive effect on the neuroendocrine system. It helps stabilise hormonal levels

and creates new foundations for emotional stability. Additionally, Yoga helps with improving blood circulation,

postural alignment. muscle tone and balance.

 

The practices during this retreat are easy to follow for beginners. All classes include relaxation and cultivate calm,

balanced energy to promote a sense of inner peace.

Location and Accommodation

 

A beautifully renovated luxury farmhouse located in the picturesque village of Hapert in the South of the Netherlands. Hapert is situated south of Eindhoven, on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium, in an area that consists of 30% forest and breath-taking nature. You will find estates with drift dunes, beautiful vistas, mast forests and almost untouched water areas with unique water birds.

 

You will feel at home in a modern 2-floor apartment. On the ground floor, you will find the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. There are two double beds on the first floor in traditional 19th century closed beds style. Each bed is in a cute bestede with the wooden swing doors. 2 people can share each apartment. Inside the property, there is a large and beautiful garden with lots of peaceful places to discover.

  • 6 delicious nourishing organic vegetarian meals cooked with love by a qualified nutritionist and practitioner of Ayurvedic Medicine, plus unlimited herbal tea and water.

  • Luxurious accommodation for 2 nights. 1 apartment with 2 bedrooms is shared by 2 people.

  • 6 hours of  Well Woman Yoga and Ayurveda Therapy (includes gentle yoga to relieve (pre) menopause symptoms).

 

About Deola

 

Deola Opeifa has been practicing Yoga and Ayurveda since 2008. She realised that practicing helped her reduce stress, ease digestive ailments and eliminate back pain. She felt a strong desire to share this gift of Yoga and Ayurveda with others, and in 2014 decided to quit her banking career to follow her heart. In her classes, the breath becomes the music to which the body dances to, and the emphasis is on the therapeutic effects of Yoga and Ayurveda.

 

Deola is a Yoga Alliance certified Experienced-RYT 200 Hatha Yoga teacher and an accredited Yoga Therapist. She has taught over 1800 hours of Yoga. She completed a 4-year degree as Ayurveda Practitioner at the European Institute for Scientific Research on Ayurveda and a 4-year paramedical degree in Nutrition from The Hague University of Applied Sciences. She is an avid reader and is inspired by The Bihar School of Yoga, Buddhist philosophy, Dr Vasant Lad, Dr Robert Svoboda, Jiddu Krishnamurti, T.K.V Desikachar, and A.G Mohan. She continues to deepen her knowledge on Yoga and Ayurveda, and is currently studying with Peter Clifford and Françoise Freedman. Deola speaks English, Russian and Dutch fluently.

Over Deola

 

Deola is een Yoga Alliance gecertificeerde ervaren ERYT200 Hatha yogadocent en een erkende Well Woman yogatherapeut. Ze heeft meer dan 1800 uur aan yoga les gegeven. Ze heeft een 4-jarige opleiding als Ayurveda-beoefenaar bij het Europees Instituut voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek naar Ayurveda voltooide en een 4-jarige paramedische opleiding in Voeding en gezondheid van de Haagse Hogeschool. Ze is een fervent lezer en is geïnspireerd door The Bihar School of Yoga, Buddhistische philosophy, Dr Vasant Lad, Dr Robert Svoboda, Jiddu Krishnamurti, T.K.V Desikachar en A.G Mohan. Ze blijft haar kennis over Yoga verdiepen en studeert momenteel bij Françoise Freedman. Deola spreekt vloeiend Engels en Nederlands.
